It's a DELL OEM which comes with a DELL computer when you buy it. It's a ReInstall DVD. If you are installing this on a Late model DELL no key will be need if not a DELL computer you will need to purchase a product key for this install
wow guys. surely you people know by now that you CANNOT have a duplicate copy of windows on multiple machines. It may not ask for key at install....IF the hardware matches up exactly so the drivers will work, but the moment you try to update windows, it will fail the windows validation.
Actually OEM's have OEM keys not standard keys they are for Computer manufactures to install OS on their machines. I'm a DELL technician and I get hundreds of these that I normally throw away but I have installed it on many of my own and also on customers DELL machines! If you have the right BIOS it will not need a new key and the OEM key will work but there is no drivers on this disk it's only a reinstall of the DELL OEM version of Vista Ultimate
