This is a brand new hat. Nice soft fur inside. The color is red on the outside and Brown fur on the inside. Adjustable chin strap for comfort. Very nice and the best thing it's FREE!!!

Not sure it does fit a grown man and does have a strap that is adjustable. Hope this helps!

How would I take the measurements? Would I just lay it flat on its side and measure it from top to bottom and side to side? I can do that if you like? Would that work for you?

Ok I got the measurements for you I hope this helps. I measured it laying it flat down on the side like in the first pic and measured it as follows; From the top to the end of the chin flap it is 14" and from the back of the head to the forehead it is 11". So 14"x11" ? Laying flat? Hope this isn't too confusing!!
