Foxy Lady - once the bidding has started on an auction, the duration can not be changed. You can add to the description, you can lower the shipping (I just learned that one lol), and you can add more pics. That is pretty much it.

There have been several other sellers who have listed similar items, much to the delight of the book lovers here on Listia. These do not qualify as adult items or toys because these are simply books. However, if people don't like these types of auctions, I am sure the seller would not take offense if you went elsewhere, especially since no one is making anyone bid on an auction against their will.
I put this on my auctions as well - "everyone is welcome, if you don't like the auction, feel free to go somewhere else."
