The best flashlight you will ever own. In April of 2015 the average flashlight (tactical) used by military and police ranged anywhere from 500-1000 lumens according to Pisang.com. For example the maglite flashlight 6 Cell D (their strongest flashlight) produces 694 lumens according to their website. Mine produces a maximum of 6,000 lumens, 1/4 of the size and weight, and rechargeable battery....enough said. Lumen (symbol: lm) is the SI derived unit of luminous flux, a measure of the total quantity of visible light emitted by a source, basically lumens are a measurement for how bright something is. Higher the lumens the brighter the light. This Flashlight can be used for protection. DO NOT SHINE DIRECTLY IN EYES FOR FUN!
