This is a crocheted Shawl/Sweater by Casual Canine. This is machine washable, has a turleneck and an adjustable Velcro belly strap to hold securely on you dog. This is a size Large, per the package the following is the recommended sizing by breed, samples are:
Springer Spaniel, Brittany Spaniel, Border Collie, Dalmation.

This is brand new in the package, has been opened but never used.

can a dashhound wear this?

A large is 16", the back of the package says to measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If it falls at that measurement it should fit. I would think that based on the length of the dashhounds it should work. Hope that helps and good luck!

I don't know if it will fit my dog (profile Picture), but I am sure it would fit my mom's dog named Nella Bella. I Fanned, Bid, and am watching too! So cute!!
