I acquired this at an estate sale and have had it for a few years just veg-ing in the back of my jewelry drawer. Infact, I'd forgotten about it until I had to take everything out to find something. It came in the jewelry case you see in the 2nd picture which shows the name Deltah.
I did find a few brooches made by Deltah on Ebay but they are mostly famous for thier faux pearls.
Most of the articles I found went back into the early 1900's, so this brooch could be pretty old. The size tells me also that it's most likely from around the 20's as well.
It's in very good cond. but there are at last count 5 small rhinestones missing. I've just never gotten around to replacing them. Mainly because they are hard to find unless you're looking for them.
It utilizes several facet cuts from rectangle, to tear drop to round and several sizes of each. There's several stones that could even be brought up from the underneath to fix this.also.
As usual I'm drawn to the "Gee, I've never seen a brooch so BIG" stuff LOL. But, it's true. This is a monster brooch!
