The following is the description from when I bought these vials. Please read before bidding.

"OUR VIALS CONTAIN 100% FLAKES WITH NO ALCHOHOL ADDED. The Vials size is 2" tall x 5/16" wide, made of glass, and have clear plastic snap on tops. The Vials are filled with the flakes and have NO liquid added. These are scraps left over from different projects from foil to fine jewelry therefore the gold karat varies but generally average 14K in purity. They make great gifts, stocking stuffers, or save them for a rainy day."

is it true 100% gold

It's real gold but the purity varries. There is no such thing as 100% gold since it's all blended with other metals. The amount of other alloys determines the K. So.....yes it's all real gold, and no it's not 100%. If you did an analysis on it it would show other metals present, but then so would my 18k rings I wear every day.
