just want to make sure it is for a man not woman, it's cool but if my husbands head is too big for it I'm going to be embarrased! He has an average man's head size.

I would say its unisex. it depends on your head size. It's 100% acrylic. Very stretchy. I should've specified that in the listing..... sorry. I'll update it with the added information. hope this helps.
