almost a year. the screen is fine. its just that it got defected so it doesnt work, but if you can fix it then its good as new. i barely used it.

Sounds like this one is a victim of Kindles air bubble screen death. If they change altitudes (like they are advertised to be able to do with noooo problems...) the teeny air bubbles in the connector gel expands & suddenly you have a paperweight again :(. Too bad cause otherwise they rock. Good luck!
