Stunning handmade Spanish Majolica Pottery from Candas, one of 12 parishes in Carreño, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. From a trip there, you find beautiful pottery of all kinds. I especially found this bowl beautiful, with such detail, like spots that are probably formed from tiny drops of clay drizzled on the pottery bowl, and then painted over. This makes it have depth and you can actually feel the texture.It is signed on the bottom, Candas, 4 >.
