The listing, Theodore Roosevelt 66th anniversary commerative coin has ended.
Theodore Roosevelt 66th anniversary commerative coin. Mint condition. 1985 series. President and double eagle on back both in gold inlay on silver coin.
I don't know what you are asking when you say "composition", could you please explain? These coins were left to me by my grandfather and I really don't know much about them, or coin collections in general. What I can tell you is the printing of the front just says Theodore Roosevelt on top and 1985 on bottom, on the back side with the double eagle imprint it says 66th Anniversary on top and 1919-1985 on bottom, and on the side of the double eagle between the wings in very small print in the letters TR. Hope this is helpful. It is packaged in a plastic sleeve with a top flap opening. I was told he had authenticity papers for these coins, but unfortunately they were either never found, because I have never received them.
I actually took the coins a while ago to a silver dealer and they told me they stopped makin coins out of silver in 1969 & that was fifty cent pieces, quarters and all others were phased out in 1962. So the silver is probaby nickel, but they did say the inprint of the presidents and double eagles were off gold "inlay" which to a gold/silver dealer its not worth their while to deal with that, So they suggest a coin collector site. The only coins made of .999 silver are actual Treasury Mint coins minted by the government for collectible pieces, not to use as actual money. So I hope this info helps. Thanks for your inquiry.
