Hi since it is fairly new it should have come with wifi built in did something happen to the internal modem is the reason you are using an external thanks

No it never had internal wifi. I bought the USB wireless card after getting the netbook.

Im not a big Paypal fan anymore either. Nor concealed cash but you can insist on a USPS money order that way you can cash it right at the post office when you go to ship. Your guaranteed it to be a good MO because the PO will no right away if its not verses running one thru your bank to later find it was a forgery or something. I have sent & recieved postal money orders with tracking and had no issues, thus far anyhow. Good Luck fanned & watching :)

I was just about to mention what Cyndib4866 did above.
I prefer to use postal money orders as well, because you can cash them right at the post office, before you actually ship the package.... All in only one trip, so no hassles!

I am just wondering.... will there be delivery confirmation or any kind of insurance on the package?

I always use delivery confirmation, If the winner wants to pay for insurance, then I will have it put on the pkg. I am shipping this in a medium flat rate box which costs $10.85 and I am asking 10.00 flat rate.

I went to the ASUS website and according to instructions on how to find model number, I came up with the model # 701, Serial #830AAQ049283, other # found on the tag are EEEPC4G-W011X and VN:3232. Hope this helps you

Does this come with the original box?
Is the manual going to be included?
How old is the laptop? Any scratches or signs or tear or wear?

Does this have any wordpad or Microsoft Office, or typing programs currently installed on it?

No, I do not have the box or manual, I bought this netbook on ebay to use for email only when traveling. I do not know how old the laptop is but, found something where it was new at Best Buy in 2008. So........4 yrs maybe. I could not find any typing programs on the computer. As for scratches , there are some light ones on the outside of the unit.

Just wanted to say lovely auction! And to all those who hate PayPal, I agree I had problems as well and their policies are terrible. I closed my account too! But, you don't need to have an account to pay someone via the system sooo if you really want this netbook its worth bidding. :)

little confused about the 4g drive you have listed. you list it as a hard drive. 4g is extremely small unless it is a SSD. just wondering is it a HDD or a SSD.

Yes, I accept only paypal for shipping. This netbook has a USB wireless card included in the deal. I have never ran the battery down to know how long it will last. As I said I have two laptops so I did not use the netbook very much.

PAYPAL IS CORRUPT! I cant begin to tell you the trouble I have had and the terrible "hole" it put me into.
May I suggest that since you are not asking for that much shipping cost-to allow concealed cash. I do it all the time and have yet to have a problem-Just have buyer wrap their cash up in a paper towel and then insert in envelope. Sure it might take an extra stamp but it is good to go and it never hurts to put a delivery confirmation on it ieither so buyer knows that you did receive it. You would have alot more bidding if you would open yourself up to more avenues of shipping acceptance.
