This pattern is for beginning knitters and the people who teach them. Knitting this scarf will provide practice with the following skills: cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, knit two together, purl two together, switching between knitting and purling within a row, cast off and reading a basic pattern. Teachers may make as many copies of this pattern as they need, but the copyright information must remain intact.
