Do you ever have several crochet projects going at the same time and don't have the money to have 6 of the same hooks to leave behind with the project. So now I use one of these hook minders to help me remember what hook I was using and to keep my project from unraveling.....there is a safety pin at the top of it and what you do is fasten the safety pin where your needle is and then slip your needle out.....
