The listing, CREATURE CARD #10, ORIGINAL ARTWORK BY RHONDA CHASE!!! has ended.
WELCOME! This is Creature card #10. I did this on the back of a 3 x 5 card the day I posted it. It is done in graphite. These creatures did not exist prior to the day they were created. The goal of these drawing's is to spread art among the people in an affordable way. What better way then to give them away free! They fit neatly into an envelope with some protective cardboard, so they don't bend, and I will ship them that way :)
I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as sex and defining attributes)
Thanks for looking! I appreciate your comments and your time.
Thanks so much for the compliment. I appreciate that you noticed the size of the image. They are small. It is hard to fit very much on them and I normally just get a head in :) I wish you the best of luck with bidding. Some of the cards have gone for a small number so you never know!
You're welcome! Sorry to hear they go for low numbers. How long does it take to make one? I put a minor drawing up here once in a while they don't go for much either.
I appreciate your sympathy, but I'm not worried about it :) This is an experiment and a way to spread art around. I'll mail you a link to my blog so you can see what the project is about. The lowest one so far went for 51 credits. I don't mind. I made them so they could easily be shipped for the cost of a stamp. And the practice and support is worth it! I had one take a little over an hour maybe and the longest one was about 5 hours. My hope is that as they continue the quality will improve and I'll start to get a following of people who enjoy them.
In the past I have bought art books with just "Aliens" or "Fantasy items" etc...I think you should compile a book at the end of your creature experiment--I would love to have one on my coffee table (and I've only seen 11 creatures so far). They are so intriguing....
What a wonderful idea! I love it! I have a book like that myself. Plus there will be lots of content for it and all the work will be done. I can include the creatures given names and information too. Fabulous. You get a free one for coming up with the idea!
