The listing, Vintage Rainbow Brite Doll 1983 has ended.

This is a Vintage Rainbow Brite Doll, in her Original Dress. She is the smaller version, approximately 11 inches tall. Her tag reads: 1983 Hallmark Cards, Inc. (c) Mattel, Inc. 1983.
She is in played with condition, with some smudges, and "play dirt". She has a couple of dark smudges on her face under her star (I tried to get them in the picture, but hard to see). Not perfect, but an ADORABLE little 30 yr. old Girl.
She's ready to come home to her new Mommy, and have a nice bath and lots of love :)

omg I haven't seen one of these in years, and then I find 2 in 5 min here on Listia.... . Asked my niece around christmas time if she ever saw the rainbow brite cartoons.. All she said was " rainbow who?". I had this doll, a few of the sprites, and even villains sidekick Lurky, the brown larger sprite lookin guy lol. man, that makes me feel old lmao. Anyways, awesome auction =)

Rainbow Brite was such an awesome cartoon! I remember all of the dolls, and think that this one originally came with a little sprite, that she held (she has little strips of velcro on her hands). I was hoping that she'd bring back some happy memories for someone :)

Awww..Rainbow Brite was my fave when I was a little girl. I used to have one just like this but my cousion cut all her hair off it and have never been able to find a new one. My niece would love this. Fanned and watching.
