I'll give you my experience with the fit and I'll let you judge. It's one of those opinions that vary from person to person. I am a size 36DDD. Sometimes I wear the sister size 38DD for puffy days. This bra's underwire fit perfectly on the side boob, but the cup was big enough to fit more boob. The band was also a bit looser than what I am used too, so I would personally say yes, it does run a bit big and it's classified more of a full figured bra.
