Description

The listing, *~*~Cobalt Blue Glass Bottle ~ From the 1800's!~*~* has ended.

This cobalt blue glass bottle is in great condition for its age. I don't have any information other than the estimated age, sometime in the late 1800's. I do not know where it originated from either. This was a random find in a very large pile of antiques of all genres and ages.

As you can see in the second picture, there are two chips at the top of the bottle. These aren't sharp as they have been smoothed out over time from being in storage so long.

Size dimensions...

3" inches tall
1.5" wide
1/8" at the top

This is a nice size bottle, not to large, not to small. It does not come with a cork or any such topper or plug. This would be a great collectors item or it could be used for storing small items like beads for example.

Shipping will be $1.75 paid through PayPal only please. Please send payment within 3 days after the auction has closed. If you need more time then let me know, it's not a problem as long as I'm informed. I will ship within the USA. International shipping, including Canada is *not* available for this item, sorry!

This item comes from a smoke-free, pet friendly home!

Thank you for looking! Happy bidding!

Questions & Comments

Cobalt Blue bottles back then are now more of the most collectible ones on the market, I collect this and would love to add another to my collection. I was curious what you could tell me about any markings or writing on the bottle that would help shed more info on to where it came from. Almost all of these were medicine bottles and if legit would have some writing of some sort or a marking somewhere. Can you find and tell me if you find any?

I just looked around the bottle, bottom included and the only thing I found that looks like it may be a marking of some kind is circular on the bottom with two line slash marks to the side. Other than that, there is nothing else obvious to me. Hopefully this is helpful! Thanks for stopping by and for commenting! =)
