Questions & Comments

This has been re-listed because someone flagged it. I have had this SAME auction up at least two times that I know of with successful results! There is NOTHING in violation of Listia's terms! I have two Dr. Pepper IRON MAN 2 auctions and two Dr. Pepper Every Cup/Cap wins....These are COMPLETELY different contests!!! If there is something wrong with this auction that I am unaware of, Please let me know BEFORE flagging!!!!! I think people going around flagging auctions without at least attempting to notify the auction owner's of something that may be wrong with it is COMPLETELY disrespectful (not to mention decietful)....Show some respect please!!!

tell ya what...next time, i'll put up a three day auction for your forty credits if you're still interested?? (LOL) Thanks for being patient...I guess the reason I do ten day auctions is so that people can actually find them LOL Most people just look through the ending auctions....and alot of times it's more than five days before they ever COME to my auctions LOL....just look at the bright side.....at least this way (assuming noone else bids) you've just saved yourself 29 credits LOL (which by the way, you're welcome to spend at my next auctions heheehheeh)

Yes, I have noticed that auctions get really popular seconds before they end and no I dont mind waiting (heard somewhere that the ea promo ends soon, which it doesnt)

Oh really? Well, I certainly hope that they don't as I have quite a few more EA cap codes coming up for auctions....my brother in law drinks noting but Dr. Pepper so when I found out about the Codes, I asked him to save them for me.....Ergo, I have plenty more auctions with EA codes coming up.....two bad I can only do two auctions of the same thing at a time.....oh well....

you could try auctioning three or four codes at once, maybe increase the starting bids or something along those lines.

ps. I checked the dr.pepper site and it said "End date: dec 2010"
May 11th, 2010 at 11:53:23 AM PDT by

thanks for checking the end date ....as for doing three or four at a time..you think people would actually bid on higher auctions ?? I'm not sure....seems like when it starts lower it often ends up higher...however, when i set the starting bid higher....it ends up lower than what it would have probably been before....does that make any sense? *Scratching head* because I think I just confused my own self LOL* hehehehehehe

I am going to try something though...once these auction (that are currently running) end, I will list three codes in a single lot for a three day auction....just to see what happens....maybe you might have a point and I might have been going about it all wrong...

couldnt hurt to try. The last group of codes I bid on was a "tiered" auction, something along the lines of - if the auction ends at 30 credits, you get one code. if it ends at 50 credits you get two, etc etc

Yeah, the more I think about it I think I will do what I mentioned above. Three codes, single lot for three days. See how that goes. I'm not to big on tiered auctions.....I tend to be a bit leary of them....

not sure if links are allowed in the comments but here is the auction http://www.listia.com/auction/355153 the price kept going up (way too much for me)

Yeah, links are allowed (all the better when tyhe auction to which the link goes to is already over such as your link was)...I went and checked it out. I am greatly surprised that that auction only went for that much....I've had single code auctions that have gone for that high.....so I was really surprised.....whoever won that auction that you linked to got a GREAT steal...

and it looks like another one of those questionable users won. Listia really shouldnt give so many credits to brand new accounts
May 12th, 2010 at 9:02:06 AM PDT by
Original
Why questionable? I have similiar opinions about so many credits because it's too easy to start up another account and bid....I've had people bid..win, no comments, no nothing...didn't even let me know what they got with the codes...(I like to follow up with my 'clients' and find out what these codes got them.....kind of a 'personal' touch)
