The listing, New 925 Silver Set - L@@K! has ended.

Up for auction is a very beautiful silver set. It includes the necklace, a ring and a pair of earrings. This set is brand new, but I no longer have the box that it all came in. I opened it when it was given to me a couple of years ago and putit in my jewelry armoire, and that's where it has been sitting. I never wore it, not even once. I just don't wear jewelry,. So it's never been worn. It probably wouln't hurt to have it cleaned, but it still looks very good. I have an issue with pictures right now. My camera isn't anything nice. I have bought a new one but it hasn't been delivered yet. My pictures are bad, I know. I even had my granddaughter come over and take pictures with her i-phone and they weren't much better than mine. I'm sorry, but these are the best I can do until I get my new camera. Please don't ask me to post more or better pics , because I can't There is one pic where I am holding the ring trying to get a pic of the 925 marking inside the band. Verified? By who? I don't understand. If you mean like an appraiser, no. Why would I need an appraiser for silver, it isn't gold. I've never questioned that it's silver because of who gave it to me and the fact that all of the pieces are stamped.

The reason I ask is that there is a whole lot of fake stamped Sterling silver being sold on listia. Every single item from Hong Kong or china is not .925 % Sterling silver. There are websites for fake .925% Sterling silver sold in the United States. You can find lots of it on eBay and Amazon. It is also all over listia. If it's not (there are test kits and jewelers will verify) listia will refund credits. It may be the real deal but it also may not be. Thanks for responding.

Okay I understand. This set did not come from eBay. I'd get it tested but I don't know how I would get it done or where. I don't mean to sound dumb but will someone come to your house to do it? I don't know who to call for this. I never leave my house as I just had my legs amputated.

You don't need to get it tested or verified. I was just asking if you did. In the future if you want to test it you can buy Sterling silver test kits online for around $15. I bought one because I have a lot of Sterling silver and buy it and want to make sure what I buy is actually .925% Sterling silver. My heart goes out to you. The set is beautiful.
