well i don't no what a ir is,my son in law gave me the ps2 so when my grandkid's come over they play it,and i went and bought 2 controller to plug in,i don't no much about these game's sorry,but it's new,can you tell me what ir is would it be on the controller itself ?

OH IM SORRY! LOL there is a lil small thing that gets plugged into the PS2 where you would normally plug a wired controller into. THATS what communicates between the console and the wireless controller. its only about 2.5inches by 1.5 inches and i think it would be black. the wireless controller cant work without it. =) i hope i said all that correctly and clearly! LOL

Okay i looking at it now and in the back or i think it would be the front if holding it the way you would if playing it has a plug like you would plug your phone to charged is that what your asking i don't have a plug that fit it,not sure if i had one,it came here with it,but i bought the plug in kind,make it easier for me,does that help...

No i never saw one,my son in law bough a ps2 at my house for the kid's to play,and i bought 2 plug's inn's for it,don't no much about it,so didn't want to use a cord less,my 5yr old grandson no's how to work the game more than me.LOL

there should be a part about 2 inches long that plugs into a usb port on the computer and when u type it lights up blue do u have that and should also be something similar to that for the mouse also do u have those pieces? and how much is shipping to ohio?
