If you are a Tom Cruis fan, this is a dont' miss film. If you aren't, like me, it's like John Wayne as the Centerian in The Greatest Story Ever Told. Of course Max Von Sydow as Christ is a bit of a stretch, too.

some timy ones on both discs. hardly noticeable. It did not effect showing last time I watched it.

when I was given this movie I thought it was gonna be another lame martial arts movie, but I was wrong. This movie is wonderful! It sits next to my keyboard all the time, when I am not watching it. Whoever loves Martial Arts, and The Way art of Samurai definitely has to bid for this one! :)

I agree. It is more like the epic mini-series with Richard Chamberian, "Shogun" in that it goes into the actual lives of the Samuriai, exposing more actual Japanese historical culture.
