Can you tell me more about the COA? I have researched MKW Mint and can't find anything about them. I can see there is a person's stamped signature, but I can't read who it is.
That is how I received them- (in bulk) not familiar with their location (MKW) though- just that the item has a the COA- and I received them here in the US- hope that helps
Thanks for the info! I didn't mean to offend. In don't know about items, like these but am looking to expand into collectibles. I would just want a COA I could back up online with some info because I know zero!
Not offended at all- it's all extra info that I should probably add into the description anyhow (just for some fun history/practical applications for gold foil leaf)-- I always mean to- and then when it comes time to relist- I always forget to =P Appreciate the question really- thanks =)
I wouldn't be terribly concerned really. I know all about these (as per how they are created)- .999 24kt gold foil leaf (of which these are comprised) is a readily available, and rather inexpensive commodity. You can buy them by the roll (for gold etching on materials- like book guilding), you can buy them in "flake", they are commonly bought in small sheets (for nail applications)- they are almost considered a 'disposable commodity' (except when presented in THIS manner- which is why the gold note is so popular)-- upscale restaurants even put the flake IN ice cream and desserts (to be actually eaten by the customer- as some sort of gimmick) =P The provenance doesn't concern me- as I know they are easy to manufacture, and definitely made from pure gold foil leaf- I've probably sold over 700 of them between here, Tophatter, and elsewhere.. all without issue. A cool, fun, collectible item- no doubt. =) Thanks
