There is no hoop, link or pin, so this could be used with a bale for jewelry, for scrapbooking, as an accessory in sewing, crocheting or knitting or whatever art or craft project you're creating. These are filigree, however and have many openings that could be used with jump rings, eye pins, head pins or any stringing material to make a beautiful jewelry piece.

The are 3-dimensional, not flat. They're a lovely, bright true-brass color.
