Up for bid is a nice antique postcard showing Boat Lake, Druid Hill, Baltimore.Druid Hill Park, dedicated October 19, 1860, ranks with Central Park in New York and Fairmount Park in Philadelphia as the oldest major public park in the country.
Most of the original buildings are still intact! The old boat lake is now a part of the zoological exhibit (a 20th century addition).
Card is in nice condition, with some softening of the corners. Smoke-free home.
Card will be shipped in a first class reinforced envelope, which carries no tracking, so please make sure you are in agreement with that method of shipping before bidding.
