The listing, Vintage Quilt Blocks Flower Basket has ended.

This is a lot of 13 Flower Basket design quilt blocks, all handpieced and handsewn, that I picked up on eBay a few years back and just haven't found a use for, hope someone out there can use them. Some of them are really nicely done and others are not quite so good, but they are all useable. The fabrics are likely from the 30's-40's and they made some interesting choices at times, but whatever floats your boat as they say. They are ALL pictured above. If bidding goes over 400, I will throw in 4 additional 9-patch blocks just for fun. They are pictured above. The Flower Basket blocks measure 10-10 1/2 inches, the 9-Patch Blocks measure 11 1/2-12 inches except for one measures 10 inches square. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, I will sure try to answer if I can.

Thank you so much for looking and giving me some feedback. Some of these blocks are exquisitely done, some not so much, to be honest. It is all the same fabric, so it makes me wonder if maybe a mother and daughter did them, something like that. In that lot of blocks I bought with these were some lovely "butter churn" blocks I am keeping because they are more to my liking and I will be more likely to use them. I am always fascinated by how people hand piece blocks like that!

Many mother daughter quilt blocks were not perfect, it was a teaching lesson....that's what makes them so amazing....these are cool gonna bid

Oh, I fully agree, I wish I had learned at the knee of my family matriachs but it was not to be, but these are really a part of history. I just bought the most beautiful double Irish chain on eBay I have ever seen, it is the most excited I have been since my wedding day! I get kinda weird about quilts, can ya tell?
