t comes with a 10 its in very good condition. I have 2 short hair dogs and don't need it anymore and I don't plan on getting one that I have to use clippers on. I am assuming you know about clippers I have kept it oiled and no its not loud. You can use it for poodles long hair dogs that need trimmed. It has 3 comb guards which I think are 1/4 in 1/2 in and I have to look at the 3rd one I can't remember. I had a yorkie mix and I had to put him to sleep 2 years ago he was 16 yrs old. He is the one I used the clippers for. I hoped I answered your questions

i had a yorkie mix and yes it comes in handy and it is alot cheaper than the grooming shop

would this work out well for a cocker spaniel? her hair grows WAY too fast and it's expensive taking her to the groomers .... i cut people hair all the time....fanned and watching

If they are very matted the best way is to skim the mats out wash the dog then clio
