I put the disk in on my laptop windows 7, it read it, and asked me to install. I didn't install it because I didn't want it on there, but I'd say, yes, it works okay. Also on windows 7 it will ask you if it installed correctly, and you can say yes or no, if no it will conform it to make it compatible.

I didn't try it on 7; I have 7 though, I can try it later. 7 does have a program built in that makes a program compatible though. I'll try it and let you know. I had it installed on xp I think. I installed it to converse with my sister, but she passed away before we could do much with it, so uninstalled it. The program impress me though.
