The listing, Very Vintage Pocket Watch Cases has ended.
These are two VERY vintage, could possibly be antique (to be considered antique items have to be at least 100 yrs old, except autos, which is 50) nickel pocket watch cases. The one on the left has the following inside: STAR WC CO. NICKEL. Underneath that the numbers 201256. Above the words there is a double headed bird with two branches under it. Someone (probably whoever owned it) scratched the initials ELP or maybe it' s a B, I'm not sure. The one on the right has inside the case: FAHYS ORESILVER No 1 PAT FEB 19th 1884. Then the serial number 550659. Oresilver is nickel. I make awesome necklaces out of these. I have several so I decided to share :) ! I might put one of my necklaces up for auction so you can see what I do with them! I think I will also be listing some watch movements for those of you who love steampunk. These are very very sturdy, they were made to last. As with all my 'as found' pieces, they will need a good gentle cleaning. Bid happy ;=).
