A Beautiful Butterfly Pendent on 24 inch SS water wave chain with matching earrings on SS latch back wires. These are AWESOME. The color is purple and surrounded by a lighter purple .

I understand, mine said that too. If you read the information part on Ebay it says that .995 is sterling but 995 is not. I am not saying that you are buying something that isn't sterling. I am saying I bought "sterling" and when I cut it to use it on something it was not really sterling silver. Since they were so inexpensive I cut some more. Same thing. I didn't mean to offend you, sorry.

I saw on Etsy where someone was warning people about the "sterling silver" purchased from China saying that it wasn't sterling. I am not the only one to discover this.

Sorry I said that wrong .925 is sterling silver. The point has to be in front of the 925 for it to be sterling. I don't know what 995 is. I have never heard of it.

I make 90 % of my jewelry and have never had a complant about the Quality of it
I pick some things up at estates sales sometimes but mostly in the summer !

I love these butterflies. They are a great seller in earrings and charms for the memory locket necklaces. I never thought about putting them on the pandora type findings though, and adding it to a chain. Great idea. But I must say if the chain is from china my guess is it isn't really sterling silver. I have cut the ones I have gotten before only to find they were copper on the inside.

The chains are marked 995 on the clasped they are sterling silver
the latch backs are marked 995 on the inside . I only buy sterling silver never the over laided . Thank you very much
