The listing, Handspun & Hand dyed Yarn has ended.
Deep purple and black give way to peeks of hot pink in this smooth, soft yarn. Every Knitter and Crocheter needs this yarn in their arsenal. It comes in 2 small hanks since I spun it in a drop spindle while I was bored in class and waiting for the train =)
Yardage- 256 yards Weight- Fingering through a sport weight Fiber- Merino and Bamboo 2 ply
I prefer to spin larger amounts of yardage but sadly this is all I had of both fibers, I do have some mini skeins but I am keeping those so I can make the Bee Keeper's blanket
First - this is absolutely GORGEOUS yarn! Next - I added both of you lovely ladies on my Ravely because your so much fun and so lovely!!!! I am thinking of starting a Listia forum on there for all of us lucky enough to win lovely yarn on LIstia! Mbellishnit is my "alter ego" on Ravelry! Add me if you like!
Hi again! I added you as a friend on Ravelry! Your projects listed look awesome! Hope you'll add me as a friend too! My Ravelry name is PokiePrincess. In fact, if any of you gals want to add me as a friend, feel free to do so! I'll add you as a friend also! Can't wait for your next auction, I bid on this one but was out bid! :(
Wish I had the credits for this! It's absolutely GORGEOUS!! I want to get into hand spinning & hand dyeing too! How hard is it to do? Where can I find info & materials?
I will be auction one more hank of handspun yarn once this over so dont fret =) Spinning is not for everyone it takes time money and patience but if you keep with it your can get really beautiful results. I didnt buy any of the materials for my first spun yarn, I got it in a craft swap ( I made her a cross stitch goodie bag with kick ass cross stitch patters I made myself, and she made me a spinning starter kit) I have a lot of free times while on my way to and from school since my train ride is 2 hours long so I use that time to spin when I can cos you need space and fibers will fly around you some times. If you really want to learn just do a google and youtube search thats how I learned, good luck if you do decided to take up spinning.
I tried once but I had so much trouble trying to put I'n a password that I got frustrated and gave up lol. but I guess I'll try again if you guys think I should. :)
