I honestly do not remember...and this is sealed so I cannot open it and tell? I apologize...I even went to the Avon website to check the description...could not find reference as to whether it sparkled or not? My guess...and from memory of others, I do not think it is real sparkly...more of a tame glow...Hope this helps.
