This watch/compass thing has been gently tossed around for about 10 years over my travels. I have never used it but it has been shifted from box to box over the years. It has a couple small smudges on it but nothing serious. check the pictures. It does need a battery but it was working last time I looked at it. If it does not work after you put a battery in it, let me know. It really is a cool piece. Especially for a boy scout or just an avid outdoorsman. As you can see, the whole thing closes and opens to see the compass. the watch part swivels when open. It can be clipped on belt loop or a lanyard around your neck while out hiking, etc.
