YES it is straight talk just this phone in particular will not run on verizon I wish it would. Straight talk does not have any roaming capabilities so only the network assigned to that phone will work. Virgin/Boost offered Straight talk the best network deal for the android market and supplies the phones in this case. best of luck. may put mine on here after i see how you do with this:)

Yeah, you might do better to sell it on ebay. These are selling on there for used lowest price $85.00 and up to $200.00. for a new one. I was hoping to get at least the same in credits for this....if it doesn't do well I might not list many items worth more then $50.00. I am new to listia but I am not new to internet sales. I do know that being new might effect the final price but I went the extra mile with the verification and the free shipping just to see if the sight has enough people who are interested to throw a few high end items out this way,....don't get me wrong, I like a good deal too but if there are no items on here to buy the less buyers the sight will have. The sellers are the buyers on here and credits are worthless if there is nothing on here worth buying.

Hope everyone knows to call or go to straighttalk.com to find out if this works in your area. if it's not listed that means it may not work.

Believe it or not straightalk buys the ability to use any towers they contract with, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular and yes even TMobile, straightalk has the ability to do this so cheap since it doesnt have to pay all that money to build towers. This argument comes up alot on here and Ive copied and pasted the exact article from straightalk if u read the fine lines. This is a super phone and I'm sure will work off of whatever tower is necessary.

Thanks for the info....there seems to be allot of fine print with these phones. I saw where you can flash these phones to take any carrier fix bad ESN's and to upgrade the Android programs.

Again, greatly appreciated! The paperwork with it is for Straight talk but I was told that it worked on Verizon as well. I'm not exactly sure but it definitely does Straight Talk.

FYI straight talk runs three individual networks depending on the phone model you buy. This particular phone is the limited sprint network same as virgin mobile and boost mobile. It is a great phone I bought two of these when they first came out my son loves his I can not use mine as I drive truck and the network is not good in many areas I travel to. Hope this helps. Also straight talk locks their phones to network very difficult if even possible to break these phones. Check map coverage in your area against boost or virgin maps to be sure of coverage. Good luck with your auction you should do very well.

I know it! I think the concept of this sight is great, it's like buying stuff with your stuff rather then straight out money. That is why free shipping is good, if you have enough credits to get stuff without spending more money only spending credits!

I think Straight Talk in my area is the most popular carrier. I didn't do anything to this but powered it on charged the battery found wifi and surfed around emailed a couple pics to facebook then let it run the battery down and recharged it and did it again to make sure that it does work right and the battery is good. It is a awesome phone! It's like a computer in your hand!
