The listing, Russian Fairy Tale Book has ended.

I have an unusual Russian Fairy Tale book available. A nicely illustrated book, 10 pages long and in MINT shape. Not sure of the story, but a strange looking witch that flies around in a wooden bucket and chewing on old tree limbs. I'd really like to understand this story, but no Russian reading abilities. Check the pics below for quality. Book will be mailed via USPS free of shipping charges or can be picked up locally.

What you have is Baba Yaga, a witch who is very common in Russian folklore. She is actually riding in a mortar and uses her pestle as a paddle through the air, and uses her broom to sweep away her tracks. Her house has chicken legs and can run around, and she sometimes eats children. Great to grow up hearing these stories!
