when I was working, I used mine as a hot chocolate warmer on my desk. worked great.

Ok MGERMAIN I have been testing it for 1 hour and 40 minutes in a glass mug of water 5inches deep has maintained 110 degrees F. I believe you could safely warm up your oils with no problem. thank you for your question and I wish you good luck on this auction.
