No, they are only taken if you are the high bidder and then only when the transaction has successfully taken place. Thanks for looking and fanning, will fan you back.
thanks for the offer but I will see what I get for the card....and on your auction if you don't want to sell your item at a low price you need to set the minimum starting bid out at a higher price ...say 100 credits to start. By listia rules if you start it out at 0 and it only gets 10 credits you are obligated to sell it at that price...you don't have to start an auction out at 0 you can start it out at whatever amount you want....also say you start it out at 0 and I put a bid in at 50 right off the bat, since no one else has bid it just starts the auction out at 1 like it did mine. Now say someone else sees it and bids 10 it increases the bid to 11 and tells that person he has bee outbid and the current price is 11..(see I bid 50 previously and he bid 10 so now the bid moves to 11 and I am still high bidder) now when someone else sees it and the bid will say 11 credits have been bid, he now wants it and bids 30 credits, now it will say the current bid is 31 and I am still high bidder. Finally another bidder sees it at 31 credits and bids say 65, he now will be high bidder at 51 since my high bid was only 50. See how it works, hope this clarifies it a bit, i know I was confused at first too! If it goes low and you don't want to sell I totally understand and won't leave bad feedback... let me know if you have any questions or concerns.... and I am sure someone will up the bid soon.
i fanned u and good luck on the auction,i agree i would always start a card auction out at 100 credits.thanx for the info on the bid process i dint quite understand that either..its nice to know
