Well, I am not only a fragrance freak, but a freaky fragrance geek -- esprit de parfum is EVEN BETTER than eau de parfum, which is better than eau de toilette, then you have eau de cologne one step lower, and then splash, and lastly after shave. Below I listed a comparison of the top 3 as far as concentration levels.

---Perfume extract, or simply perfume (Extrait): 15-40% (IFRA: typical 20%) aromatic compounds

---Esprit de Parfum (ESdP): 15-30% aromatic compounds, a seldom used strength concentration in between EdP and perfume

---Eau de Parfum (EdP), Parfum de Toilette (PdT): 10-20% (typical ~15%) aromatic compounds, sometimes listed as "eau de perfume" or "millésime"

4th is the the more popular, "affordable" Eau de Toilette (EdT) which is still wonderful for some very high end fragrances that don't have EdP available for purchase.

So, even though I really, really intend on winning this auction there are some facts about how great of an auction/opportunity this REALLY is -- so hopefully I can bring some bidders in to appreciate this more, but I still intend on winning.

My mother buys me a full size bottle every Christmas. It lasts me 1 year! (Until the next Christmas).lol. Its does last a long time. And i cant tell you how many compliments i get on its scent!

I have one of these already and it is only a 0.17 oz bottle, BUT if you like this scent (which is very hard to find, especially the Parfum like this is) it is well worthwhile because the little pouch and container fit nicely in a purse or jacket pocket and with having the parfum or EDP my little bottle has lasted me quite awhile and I practically bathe myself in my fragrances -- I am bidding too so I'm not going to amp this up TOO much, lol, but of all the little 0.17 oz luxury sample bottle of fragrance I've had (too many to count!!) this has got to be in the top 2-3 IF you like the scent. It's a different scent, but I absolutely love it. I have the 1.7 oz EDT spray too, but the EDP is just better smelling for some reason, much more concentrated and rich and full and it's kind of got a different viscosity to it where it's a little thicker and is a brown color like you would picture "Poison" to really be!!

Yes it is stronger! The parfum is so much more concentrated than other strengths- it lasts & smells so much better!! Thats probably why its more expensive.

I am definitely bidding and thankful I slept in until 9am today so I can watch the bids, but out of curiosity -- any extras for bidding over 10.000???

I keep getting these little esprit de parfum 0,17 oz bottles until I get my tax return and then I'm going for a bottle with 200x more 3.4 oz of Dior Poison in esprit de parfum for over $350.00 NIB.
