Included in this lot are seven Bill Clinton/Al Gore pinbacks dating from 1996, the year Clinton crushed Bob Dole and Jack Kemp in the general election, but a full year or two before Slick Willie was impeached and then acquitted. Also included are three items from the fateful Dukakis campaign of 1988. The pictures really do tell the complete story, as everything is authentic and in mint or near mint condition. The rectangular pin measures 3 X 2 and features the two smiling couples - Clintons and Gore's; the square pieces measure 2 x 2; the small rectangular bar measures 2.5 x .5. Besides the 1.75 inch labor issued Dukakis button, two mint gold colored tie tacs are included - one measures 5/8 x 5/8 and the other 3/4 X 1/2. No matter how you measure it all makes a nice jump start to beginning a Clinton or Dukakis pinback collection or filling in some missing items in an existing collection.
