The listing, HAND PAINTED DRAGONWARE MORIAGE has ended.

This is two very small little dishes that measure 3 1/2" by 2 1/4" each. I am not sure what they were used for but could be for holding small jewelry on a dresser. or sugar cubes at tea party. Such fun items to add to a collection.

It would be a very small soap bar. In this set there are also small tea cups and saucers, so I wonder if they were all used together. I will be listing some of these tea cups and saucers in the near future.

These are not marked on the bottom. I have inserted a picture, but it is fuzzy. They are very shiny solid white.

As I thought more about these little dishes, I remembered I had another one in my bathroom. I had taken it out because it is chipped. It is the one with the markings (I think it was originally a set of 6). It says Hand Painted Made in Japan. I'll try to get a photo posted today

Are there any chips, cracks, flea bites or crazing? TY.

I never say these items are perfect, as these hand painted items to me always have imperfections or some sort. They are not chipped or cracked. I am not a collector of this type of thing, so not sure what crazing or flea bites are. Sorry. These were in my aunts anitque store when she passed.

Great. TY. Crazing is the cracking (broken egg effect) usually in the glaze. That doesn't bother me at all. Flea bites are super small chips that don't quite rise to the level of calling it a chip. Sometimes you can't see them, you can only feel them.
