This is very true! I had a copy of the $1 stamp from the "1898 Columbian Exposition" series. In mint condition it is valued at over $4500.00...used it was valued at over $600.00. My copy looked like it was hinged in an album and someone grabbed hold and tried to tear it out- -therefore ripping the stamp! And because it is such a rare stamp, it sold on the for $117.50 plus shipping and insurance! Good luck on these.....or should I say wish ME luck! lol Legend Mark
