Up for sale today is, obviously, a 1944-S Mercury dime in VF-20 condition. I've always loved the thought of being able to hold a piece of history in my hands. Collecting coins has always been like a museum to me. You can look at your coin collection just like at a museum, but you own everything. It's all yours. You can also hold your history whenever you want and think about where this coin could have been. His coin could have been used during World War II! It may have been used to buy weapons or maybe ice cream from an ice cream shop and from there passed on through a generation then sold to help pay for something a family needed to get. Anything could have happened to this coin.
