Description

The listing, Unfinished Roses Tablecloth. 54 inches x 70 inches. Doesn't include the embroidery floss has ended.

Unfinished Roses Tablecloth. (It's going to be a beauty when it's completed!!!)

Coarse textured, cream-colored, cotton fabric tablecloth.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOTE: Someone asked so I looked on etsy and ebay - my go-to places for information these days. This fabric looks like it may be Irish Craft Linen, but not the soft damask linen. My mother and grandmother had those tablecloths and napkins, and this is definitely looser weave and stiffer. What it will be like after washing and drying with a conditioner I don't know.
ANOTHER NOTE: About age spots & stains, etc. I have included another photo (the 6th) showing the one area that has a mark like you would see after a dark colored metal hoop had been used. And some light brown or tan spots - something we see here in Florida quite frequently on all kinds of natural fiber fabrics, due to our environment. Quilt wash takes those out of quilts. I don't have any or I would try it. The area is along the edge on the long side, and may very easily hang down. So, the fabric is new and unfinished as opposed to finished and used.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Measures: 54 inches x 70 inches...has raw edges which will need to be finished somehow.

Unfortunately, this tablecloth came to me without the floss so this auction doesn't include the embroidery floss, or yarn as the case may be.

Click "View Larger" for a close-up. The last photo shows the tablecloth folded in half so more of the overall embroidery design is shown.

Smoke-free, cat & dog friendly home with minimal exposure to my animals.

Ships same or next day after shipping info has been provided,
and postage has been paid to Paypal, if applicable.

Hi, and thanks!

I could add a GIN...hmmm. It's really hard for me to tell for how much, though.

NOTE: I recently joined Pinterest, and several times a week I look for Listia auctions to pin on my board. What I'm looking for is an interesting item, descriptive title, and excellent first photo with no clutter in the background.

It appears to be lovely. Looks like an irish linen. I have to ask (only due to past experiences with OTHER sellers) is there any damage or staining,anything that would be considered 'not as new'? I really do not like having to ask but I have been so 'taken' in the past.
This is the perfect size and the roses is ideal since I just received a vintage pattern for kitchen curtains with a rose applique that I could easily change into embroidery as well.
thank you for listing

Thank you. I knew you would be honest with me :-) I really like the laid out picture where it shows the placement of the roses .

Being honest is in my own best interest. :-) BTW, I'm glad you asked because I had looked it over carefully downstairs on the kitchen table and didn't see any problems. Then I took it upstairs to my sewing room under better lighting and saw the problem area. I like that picture too - realized there wasn't any of the "bigger picture".
