Thank you. These are not real stones, not man created. I have been collecting stones for about 7 years, rough, polished, cut, fancy, Cabachons.... just about any way they come. I make jewelry as well, so that's is another reason I collect gems. As far as these stones specific origin, I'd have to say New York. I have a guy who pulls stones out of gold, I buy them from him. I do have some scientific gear (strike pads, refractometer) to test whether a stone is authentic. If something is man made or glass, for example, I'd have no problem telling so :)
