I opened one package to check. It says it uses cross stitch, back stitch, French knot and 3/4 stitch. I'm not really sure what that means, any other cross stitch I have had has said cross stitch on the front so I am sorry if I put the wrong label , I am still not sure exactly what I should call it! They are all sealed packages , except for one. the back says it comes with easy to follow instructions. I looked in the opened package and it does have an instruction sheet.
