The listing, Siegel Cooper & Co Metal Coin Bank has ended.
Not sure how old it may be but down below found a little info. on the company.
This has a square locking mechanism that seems froze up, but the key comes with it. On the inside, there are two hinged doors and some fingers hanging down, this was so that once coins were put into the bank, someone could not take them out by turning the bank upside down. There is a number, 1757 on the top by the coin slot. This bank weighs over 1.5 lbs and measures 4x3x2 inches
In 1913–14 Siegel's stores, along with those of other merchants, were reorganized into the Associated Dry Goods Corp. with the help of J. P. Morgan. The Chicago store closed around 1930, its building soon occupied by Sears & Roebuck's flagship store.
