Description

The listing, A Child Called It has ended.

A Child Called "It". One childs courage to survive. By Dave Pelzer.
"One of the most severe cases of child abuse in California history." It is the story of Dave Pelzer, who was brutally beaten and starved by his emotionally unstable, alcoholic mother: who played games that left him nearly dead. She no longer considered him a son, but a slave; no longer a boy, but an "it".

I only ship to Listia verified addresses per Listia rules. Please be verified before bidding. I don't do bidders remorse or returns. No gin.

Please note. I share my home with 1 2 legged child and 12 4 legged children. I also run a dust bunny rescue, where at the moment they're planning a hostile takeover. I also have that nasty smoking habit.

Thank you for bidding, watching and or commenting. Have a good day/night.

There is another series called Cry Myself To Sleep and Cry Silent Tears, which is also another tremendous read. It is such a shame that kids go thru this on a daily basic. :'(

I'll have to look for them, thank you. I'm reading about Jaycee Duggard (the girl kidnapped and held for 18 years). It's called A Stolen Life. 3096 days in Captivity is another good one.

^ A Stolen Life was a good read! And I was going to school 25 miles away when she was kidnapped. We never got to go anywhere the year after that.

Omg! How scary! I've read it a couple of times and saw she had another book out called Freedom so figured I'd read A stolen life again. The ones by the girls held hostage 10 and 11 years in ohio are both good too.

I'll have to get them. I keep my library busy. If they don't have it they go through another library in the state. I just read John Grishim an innocent man (I'll double check the title). About a man given the death penalty who was innocent. He served like 13 years on death row.
