Last year was my 1st year with the Jarrahdale Pumpkin, it's a keeper! Beautiful large slate grey/blue, no, not bright blue like some of the photo shopped pics on the net, with a very thick dark orange smooth super sweet not watery flesh. I've grown allot of pumpkins through the years, but found this to be the best ever for pies and soup, no strings at all. I simply baked it in the oven, scooped out the flesh and mashed it..The pumpkin you'll get seeds from is the one in my picture weighed in at 17 lbs, processed 3 qts of puree from it.
