The clasp says Italy 14K, and also stamped on it is 585..I got this necklace from a customer of mine when I was a bartender. He found it on the floor of a truckstop and the price tag was still on it which said 389.00. So thats all the info I have on this. I'm assuming when it's stamped 14K, that it's real gold.

sorry my computer dosen't take better pictures, but this necklace is definatley yellow gold...not silver...All I'm sure about is the marking on it that says 14K...I am no jewelry expert, but this necklace has the markings and is heavy like gold...it seems to me to be more of a mans necklace..it's links are big and chunky...not something I would wear.

You said that you assume when it is stamped that it is real. Not true! There are a lot of fakes out there. Anyone can stick a stamp on jewelry. I have seen several that were real and wasn't. Before you list anymore jewelry on here you really should take it to a jeweler first and find out exactly what you have. I have recieved 3 things on here that the people said were stamped and they turned out to not be real.
