A sweet basil with rich subtle flavor. Grows 12 to 18 inches. Very aromatic. Good, leafy pesto plant. A specialty from the region around Bologna in Italy. Large shiny green 
leaves on fast-growing branching plants.

Wonderful for pesto, pizza, vegetables 
and of course essential in spaghetti Bolognese.

Basil is a great companion plant for tomato plants, they help each other thrive.

Sow 1/4” deep, germinates in 7-14 days. Start indoors, seed 1inch apart in warm, moist soil. Only plant outdoors after days and nights are over 50 degrees. Transplant in garden 8-10 inches apart. Full sun or part shade. Requires plenty of light. Pinch back plants to prevent bolting to encourage and more leaf growth.
